Four paws, no charge

Those puppy-dog eyes … no need to look so sad; we have great news: the welcome at our elaya hotels is just as warm for your four-legged friend as it is for you – and your pet can spend the night with us free of charge. It is also important to us, however, that all our other guests find their happy place here too, which is why we have put together a few rules for you and your animal companion:

• One pet is permitted per room free of charge. We charge Euro 15 per stay for a second pet. Do you have even more than that? We’d better have a chat.
• Either way, you should inform us about any pets in advance. We love animals, but let’s find out what you mean by ‘pet’ …
• Does your pet feel so at home here that it wreaks a little bit of havoc? If the room is heavily soiled, we will charge a cleaning fee of Euro 50. We consider a room to be heavily soiled if standard cleaning won’t be able to rectify things (e.g. dirty walls, furniture, carpet, curtains, etc.)
• Your dog must be covered by liability insurance while staying with us. You are liable for any damage it causes to other guests or the hotel facilities. If damage occurs, the cost to repair or replace the damaged item will be immediately charged to your credit card. We not only have a soft spot for animals, but also for our guests and our premises …
• Dogs must be kept on a lead in the hotel’s public areas – this is the only way to ensure that all guests are able to move about freely
• Please speak to us beforehand about which (public) areas (e.g. restaurant and bar area) pets have access to. This depends on individual local conditions
