Our recommendation

Around the local mountain – also with the whole family

It’s uphill! It’s 210 metres to the highest point of the hike at 989 metres. From the Hausberg car park, the moderately difficult tour takes you around the Hausberg above the Weißbachschlucht gorge along the forest path towards the Talsenalm (not open) and on via the Krinnsattel back to the starting point. The 6.3-kilometre route takes around two hours on gravel, forest and meadow paths.

The best means of transport: your legs!

On foot
The Hausberg car park (behind the municipal office) is just a ten-minute walk from the elaya hotel steinplatte. To get there, walk through the village along Sonnwendstraße.

By car
Of course, you can also drive from the elaya hotel steinplatte to the Hausberg car park. This takes just two to three minutes and requires only two or three turns along Sonnwendstraße.

By public transport
There is no public transport connection. But you’re in the mood for a hike, after all!
